Attorneys may pay their discovery fees for the Dane County District Attorney's Office online or by phone via AllPaid.com, by mail, or in person. See below for additional information.
Effective April 1, 2026, the following fee rates will be applied to all cases*:

If there are discovery materials that require transmittal via a portable hard drive, there may be additional costs for the portable hard drive (cost varies).
*Per Wis. Stat. 971.23(1), upon demand, the district attorney shall, within a reasonable time before trial, disclose to the defendant or his or her attorney and permit the defendant or his or her attorney to inspect and copy or photograph all discovery in possession, custody or control of the state.
